I have temporarily paused my research activities. Below is a description of the work I was doing prior to working at Apple.
I have begun a new open source implementation of SALS, the Substrate for Accountable Layered Systems, which is the reflective learning component of my PhD dissertation demo, but vastly simplified and rewritten in Javascript. I’ve noticed that it usually takes me at least two complete rewrites of a computer program before I feel like I begin to understand it, so this will be my first rewrite of the thesis idea. I hope to leverage the new simplicity of this rewrite of SALS to explore and evaluate the reflective learning behavior more deeply than was possible during my PhD.
